I'm Judi Morris and I have recently retired from nursing and moved to this beautiful town. I have been creating pieces of beaded jewellery for the past 10 years.

 

I'm excited to be exhibiting at the Emporium. I'm inspired by the natural world, seascapes that are a canvas of colors, textures, and light from the deep blues, greens and greys of the ever changing ocean to the golden hues of the sand.

 

The unique Australian bush adds another layer of inspiration, with its earthy tones, vibrant greens, soft grey blues and bursts of color from native flowers. All of which we are surrounded by here in Iluka.

 

Each piece crafted reflects my love of colour and creates striking colour  combinations. I also mix textures using semi precious gemstones, glass, ceramic, wood and metal beads. Judi Morris
