Feature Artist, February 2026:
Maclean High School HSC Visual Art

Iluka Emporium and Maclean High School are proud to showcase a curated selection of works by Year 12 Visual Arts students from Maclean High School in a special exhibition running throughout February. This exciting selective showcase celebrates the creativity, technical skill, and unique artistic perspectives of a talented group of graduating students, whose HSC Bodies of Work reflect a year of dedication, experimentation, and personal expression. Visitors will experience contemporary artworks spanning painting, drawing, crochet and mixed media, offering insight into the depth and originality of young artists from across the Clarence Valley.

The Iluka Emporium is also a generous supporter of Maclean High School’s Visual Arts program, sponsoring the 2025 Presentation Night Visual Art prizes that recognised outstanding student achievement, including First in HSC Visual Arts, the HSC Exhibition People’s Choice Award, the nominee and the selected winner of the Grafton Regional Gallery Emerging Artist $5000 Scholarship, and two ARTEXPRESS nominees. We are especially proud to celebrate Akaysha Stanford Sevior, a member of the Iluka community whose exceptional work has been selected for exhibition in Sydney later this year in ARTEXPRESS.

We warmly invite the community to visit the Iluka Emporium throughout February to experience the talent, passion, and fresh perspectives of these emerging artists and to support the next generation of creative practitioners. Their bodies of work all show skill in handling their chosen medium, and great maturity and depth in the concepts / messages they have explored visually.

  • PAIGE HUXLEY  ‘MANIFESTO’

  • KEELY McKAY   ‘UNITED STATES OF PERCEPTION’

  • AKAYSHA STANFORD SEVIOR - MUSEOLOGY & MATRIARCHY - ART EXPRESS
