Current Exhibitions 

I first discovered eco dyeing some 15 years ago through contacts at my fabric shop in Tamworth. Quickly becoming obsessed, I used the eco dyed fabric to create garments, leading to being invited to parade at the Australian Wool Awards.   

 

Since retiring to Iluka I have rekindled my passion, collecting fallen leaves, bundling them tightly in fabric and boiling in my mother’s old aluminium boiler, together with rusty metal objects from my father’s farm.  I love that it is a very sustainable practice and that no harsh chemicals are used in the process.
