Sally Ford "Imagine"
 

“The world is but a canvas to our imagination”

I am an artist who views the world as colourful & humorous. I have always drawn & painted from a young age & drawn upon my life experiences to create artworks of a unique nature. I worked from my home studio in Victoria with a rural landscape of rolling paddocks, and now Northern New South Wales surrounded by river views & creative forest scenes. Painting with imagination, of many various subjects displaying a range of styles, my work is often recognised for its quirkiness, humour & bright, blazing colours. The mediums I create with are acrylic paint, pastel, watercolour, ink and charcoal. Everything in nature inspires me and I adore the beautiful & the comical, an interesting combination.

In Victoria, the Sally Ford Gallery was located at Cafe Zoo, in Drysdale, & I was also represented at the Skipton Art Gallery in Skipton. My work was also found at Anglesea Art House in Anglesea on the Great Ocean Road. I also exhibited regularly in many local & regional art shows in Victoria, including A4 Art Australia on Herring Island & Camberwell Art Show in Melbourne. Since moving to the Northern Rivers region of New South Wales, I am an active member of the L.C.A.C.A. & continue my art in local art shows and exhibitions. I have numerous pieces in collections in Australia and also overseas including England, France, USA, Canada & New Zealand.
